Default Conquests of the Longbow question about endings

From reading one of Christy Marx's original design documents for Conquests of the Longbow, I know there are at least four different endings:

Spoiler:
a) Robin gets hanged, but his men get pardoned;
b) Robin and his men get pardoned;
c) Robin and his men get pardoned, the Sheriff and Abbot are fined, the Prior of the Black Monks is removed from office, and the Merry Men become king's foresters;
d) Robin and his men get pardons, Robin becomes Earl of Huntingdon, the Sheriff is arrested for treason and replaced by Little John, the Abbot is fired and replaced by Tuck, the Prior is exiled, and Robin and Marian get married.

But Longbow is often advertised as having five endings. Never having achieved this elusive fifth ending, I have to ask: what happens in it?

Isn't there a variant on one of those,
Spoiler:
depending on whether Marian lived or not?

Oh, and don't trust what you read on the net about games, even if there seems to be multiple sources. I could tell you some stories about The Scroll / Daughter of Serpents...

It was Christy Marx's original design document which I downloaded from her website, actually. There's quite a bit of stuff about "we may need to change this puzzle if the art doesn't come out looking quite right" and so forth.

EDIT: The reference to five endings is pretty universal, too: it's even in an old Sierra catalog.

Nah, hijacking threads is evil.

And, ATMachine, thanks for mentioning the design document. It's a very interesting read.
