What games do you have that you haven't even started yet?
Or have done some of? I've been slacking with adventure games, got some catching up to do. I've recently been playing doom3, half life 2, a bit of quake 4 and currently tomb raider legend.
I have: Fahrenheit ( haven't started) Still Life ( haven't started) Moment of Silence ( did start it a few months ago, didn't get much farther than talking to the madman in central park, need to get past the yawn conversations) Rhem2 (installed, only really looked around, but looks like it'll be too hard for me) Gabriel Knight 3 ( done a tiny little bit of it) Egyptian Prophecy ( only looked around ) Sherlock Holmes Silver Earring ( someway into it, haven't touched it for weeks). EDIT: OOPS!Thought I was in the adventure forum. Can a mod move it or do a copy of it? |

I have a few, sadly:
Broken Sword 1 (I've looked around the first two rooms) Broken Sword 2 (unopened) Broken Sword 3 (bought this full price on release day - money well spent obviously, because I haven't even opened it) Deus Ex I've done the tutorial on, after much coaxing... I used to be really bad with buying games I didn't really want, but I'm better now. |

Assuming you've bought all these, why do you continue adding to the collection when you've got masses waiting to be played? To ensure you have a copy at the very least? To keep it; savour it for a later stage?

At least 50 of them, most of which I never even started playing. Just several of them are adventures, though. I keep buying them because they're either really cheap or I really really want them.

Clandestiny! Wow, I had completely forgotten all about that one. I think it was pretty good from what I remember. Just when I think I've remembered all the games I played, someone reminds me of another instance of my wasted youth.

As far as adventure games, I have Grim Fandango, The Moment of Silence, and the first three Myst games (though I know many argue those aren't really adventures).
I won't even get into the non-adventure games I have, there are a ton. |

Yep, I also almost never buy a new game right when it's released because I'm usually patient enough for it to be reduced in price. Since I'm always on the lookout for good deals on older and used games, my list keeps growing longer and longer (but sadly, my spare time is getting shorter and shorter! )
Scratches (the current exception to my buying habits, got a copy at Wal-Mart for under $20 CDN while it was also selling at EB for $25!) King's Quest VII (just won on eBay) Simon the Sorcerer 3D (just won on eBay) Obsidian (just won on eBay) URU: Complete Chronicles Myst IV: Revelation Myst V: End of Ages Post Mortem Sentinel: Descendants in Time Mysterious Journey II Broken Sword 3 CSI: Dark Motives Road to India (started it but wound up uninstalling it) Shadow of Destiny Journey to the Center of the Earth Jack the Ripper Wanted: A Wild Western Adventure Egyptian Prophecy Crystal Key 2 Return to Mysterious Island Legacy: Dark Shadows Alone in the Dark King's Quest: Mask of Eternity Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower Nancy Drew: The Final Scene Riddle of Master Lu (still can't get it to work right in DOSBox) Delaware St. John vol. 2 The 7th Guest Traitor's Gate Toonstruck Conspiracies (played a little at the beginning, then quit) Action-adventures: Auryn Quest, American McGee's Alice, Clive Barker's Undying, Prince of Persia 3D, Harry Potter and the PoA, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

hmmm....nothing I haven't at least started, but a few I'm getting the urge to re-start where I left off, after reading these posts:
Psychonauts: Got as far as this annoying times part where I have to hit targets in a limited amount of time. Annoyed me, so I gave up. Morrowind: Decided recently to re-try this one, but still bored out of my gourd looking for locations and people I'm supposedto talk to. Buffy:Chaos Bleeds, Resident Evil Zero, and Price of Persia: Sands of Time: all on the Gamecube, been trying to decide which to play first. |

I can check this game today with the new DosBox, if I find some spare time. I'll write step by step guide for you, colpet.

That would be super! I've tried this guide: http://home.earthlink.net/~infernofilecabinet4/XpSetupsP_T/Guest/RiddleOfMasterLu.htm
My problem, I think, is knowing which computer to use (do I try the dosbox on the win98 or the XP ?) and the fact that both those computers have F and G letters for the CDroms (each has 3 hardrives C, D, and E).
