Which computer? That's easy.. fastest one Dosbox is a power-hungry application.

Deus Ex I've done the tutorial on, after much coaxing... I used to be really bad with buying games I didn't really want, but I'm better now.
I'd play Deus Ex before any of the BS games, but that'd just me Don't get me wrong, BS1&2 (and to a lesser degree part 3) are awesome, but Deus Ex is just awesome on a whole different level

Like Colpet, I have a huge pile of unplayed/unfinished games. There are just sooo many classics from the pasts I haven't played yet, plus adventure deals on ebay have been really good recently. I do always play new arrivals for a while, just to check them out, and see whether they work on my pc, but then they go back in the box and sometimes have to wait for a very long, long time to be really played.

So here's my unplayed list of adventure games (some because I haven't gotten them to run, others because, well you can't play all of them at the same time ):

Ark of Time
Aztec

Bad Mojo
Bioscopia
Bureau 13
Byzantine: The Betrayal

Chine: Forbidden City
Cluedo Chronicles
Commander Blood
Conspiracy (alias KGB)
CSI 1

The Dame Was Loaded
The Dark Eye
Dogday
Dracula: Resurrection
Dracula: The Last Sanctuary
Dreamweb

The Fifth Disciple
Freddy Pharkas

Genesys

Harvester
Hopkins FBI

In Cold Blood
Innocent Until Caught
Island Adventure

The Journeyman Project Turbo

Kingdom O' Magic

Laura Bow 2: The Dagger of Amon Ra
Law & Order: Justice is Served
The Lawnmower Man
Liath

Majestic
Mummy: Tomb of the Pharaoh
Myst III: Exile
Mystery of the Druids

Necronomicon

Odyssee
Of Light and Darkness

Pilgrim
Private Eye

Quest For Glory V

Reah
Redguard
The Riddle of Master Lu
Riven
Robin Hood: Conquest of the Longbow
Runaway

The Sacred Mirror of Kofun
Safecracker
Santa Fe Mysteries: The Elk Moon Murders
Secrets of the Luxor
Shadow of Memories
Sign of the Sun
Simon the Sorcerer 1
Space Quest Series
SPQR
Star Trek: TNG: A Final Unity
Star Trek: Hidden Evil
Syn-Factor

Tender Loving Care
Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon

Urban Runner

Vikings

Y2K

Zelenhgorm

Well, I guess I better got started.

Wimli, you've got to give Kingdom O' Magic a try. It's got some wonderful, utterly hatstand silliness that shouldn't be missed. I still laugh at the (very) public toilet (it's a toilet sitting off the side of the road with no enclosure) for some odd reason.

Of course, I can't be critical. My collection of yet to be played games is too large to keep properly organized, let alone even conceive of listing.

My excuse is that I buy a game because it interests me, and I know that waiting for too long will make it much more difficult to find, but once I own it it is mine for life, to be played at any time. I'm just as happy with an old game as a new one. All depends on my mood.

It does idd look like a lot of fun! I actually played it for a very short while, when I first got it (close to the original release date actually) and really liked it. Then I continued with other games I was playing at the time. Afterwards I couldn't get it to run on my (then) new Win98 computer. I just got my new Win XP pc. That'll probably make it even harder to run. Oh well, one day I'll succeed and play the game!

And don't worry about a long list of unplayed games. Do try to post it here, or already part of it. I love looking at these lists. Gives me new ideas of games I should keep an eye for on ebay. Then again, maybe I should stop buying and play some more of the games I already have.

Broken Sword 1
Broken Sword 2
The Dig
Full Throttle
Grim Fandango
Syberia
Simon the Sorcerer 3D

Probably some more which I have forgotten about.

Then I have some games which don't work on my "new" computer because the games are too old. Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate, Day of Tentacle and Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis. But I have played all of those many, many years ago.

I would like to through all the "must play" titles eventually, but I have priotized the ScummVM titles & Sierra.
I am through with ScummVM now however, so it's only Sierra left for me:

Gabriel Knight I-III
Heart of China
Kings Quest VI-VII
Phantasmogoria I-II
Quest for Glory I-V
Space Quest VI

As you can see I finished all their AGI and SCI games, with the exception of QFG.

Beyond that, I intend to go through:
Legend of Kyrandia II-III (intend to replay I)
Simon the Sorcerer 3d
Discworld 2 & noir

Same here. When I look at my stack of unplayed games, I feel that this is just ridiculous, and that I have to stop buying so many new games if I'm not going to be playing the... ooh! there's GT Legends for ÂŁ14.99 at Play.com!

Runaway. Definitely liked what I saw when I started playing it, but I just never played it a lot. I haven't bought many games for a long time either though, since my system is too old and I'm out of hard drive space. That'll change when I can get a new computer though.
