Default Sam and Max news (kinda)

Check this out...
http://forums.somethingawful.com/sho...hreadid=803575

This guy clims he was at several days of the Sam and Max: Freelance Police recording sessions, and he's written a bunch of posts with a journal of his experiences there (including some quick one-liners and news about minigames and whatnot). Not a lot of proof it's true, but read it and you'll probably agree with me that it's not made up.

(It's spread over several posts, so keep scrolling down )

This makes me happy. I agree that the guy definitely sounds like the real deal. It seems that the game is progressing well, which to me is as much of a relief as anything else. Hooray!

Anyone here with an SA forum account? If not, anyone willing to pay 10 bucks to download those attachments?

"A running gag throughout is how Max is lighting everything on fire ("It's a chemically treated fake firelog, just like the pilgims used to use!")."

Brilliant! This is the kind of Adventure Gaming news I like, where you learn about something else than the graphics...

Default The report on the voice recordings.

Well, I read the full report on the voice recordings for the game, and I have to say that I absolutely can't wait to play this game. Lots of good luck to you LucasArts, and don't you dare cancel development on this game, as you did on Full Throttle 2. If you do, I'll be very upset.

Btw, the new mini-games, Wasp Darts, and Bumper Cars sound very interesting, and the guy who plays the voice of Sam sounds like a real professional.

Wow! What a great experience this guy had. I can't wait for Sam and Max 2.

I can't wait to see this upcoming trailer/movie (?) that LucasArts will be letting out soon.

Bill Farmer (Sam) and Billy West (Best known for Futurama (Fry, Fanrsworth, Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan)) are two of my all-time favorite voiceover people.

Dom is up there too because he's a cool guy and also, c'mon... Guybrush!

I thought you weren't even supposed to be looking at these forums without and account, let alone downloading things.

That forum is unlocked for unregistered people... I guess there are some forums that are only visible to people with accounts.

BTW, to further add to his credibility, the poster uploaded this wav file of Bill Farmer (the voice of Sam) recording him a custom voicemail greeting.

Also, I think official Sam & Max 2 news will really start rolling out after New Years.
