Default Best Puzzle

What do you think is the best, most rewarding puzzle in a AG game?

I dont want to hijack this thread but this is the only puzzle that I used a walkthrough on even though I knew what I had to do.

Maybe I'm alone in this matter, but I really don't see what was so great about Le Serpent Rouge. Sure, it was an interesting idea, but I for one lost all sense of immersion in the game as I attempted to draw crude shapes between points in the hopes that I would stumble across a pattern that the game was after ...

Sad thing is you never remember the good puzzles. It is the bad puzzles that stand out.

I kind of enjoyed the the laser puzzle in BS3. Not too easy not too hard.

A few puzzles I really loved were in GK2. I liked the tape splicing, and the climactic chase where you had to "channel" the villain into the furnace room.

We all knew what to do but in my case in 30 trys I couldnt do it in time so I started questioning if I was doing it right. I hate timed puzzles.

I just played Tierras rendition of Kings Quest 2 and really liked the whole sequence of finding the Tierra.

It's hard remember any particular good puzzle. Maybe the monkey wrench problem in Moneky Island 2, just because I like puns. It could also be knocking out the mime in MI3.

I didn't have as good a time with that because one piece was missing for me. I could still read it, but I didn't get any satisfaction from it because I didn't get points for completing the puzzle.

If I had solved it on my own, the last one in Simon3 would have made me laughing 'till this very day. Wasted opportunities.
