I urge everyone to look up the videos at IGN for "Ossu! Tatake! Ouendan!". You've never seen anything like it.

Marks in french Mag Joystick :
Technique : 7/10
Art : 8/10
Overall Interest : 9/10

In Two Words " If only every developers would give themselves the means of Quantic Dream! Fahrenheit's gameplay is very simple but it will appeal to everybody. With such direction*, even fans of good ol' Point & Click will be pleased, because if the game doesn't feature its lot of nearly illogical puzzles, he focus on the soul of the genre : Adventure."

*directions = cinematography... as in 'mise-en-scène'

The critic spends a lot of time on the melting of several simple gameplay ideas that creates a brand new experience... it also mention the flaws of the game (rushed ending of the story, average graphics, common cinematography [compared to what genius of movies such as Lynch can provide], the lack of difficulty and the game being a bit too short) but the wroter really insists on the fact that the quality of the title overwhelm the few flaws.

Less than two weeks until release!

Dammit, I want too many cool games right now. I blame Leonard Shelby.

I've pre-ordered Fahrenheit for PS2 and all the gameplay footage on websites like IGN, or magazine DVDs make me even more excited. This really seems to be a brilliant experience.

But there are so many good games I haven't finished yet, e. g. Syberia II and the great Broken Sword I or KOTOR. Oh well, sometimes it's hard being a gamer.

Don't french people like games? 13/20? 16/20 is okay I guess, but 13?

Ah well, I'm buying it anyways. Just found out what the problem was with my PC, so now that I've fixed that, I could play through the demo without any troubles whatsoever. Since I didn't encounter any problems, I'm getting the PC version instead of the previously planned PS2 version.

Man, that trailer is so hilarious. I can't even tell what's actually going on in some of the scenes.

Check it!

The version that's getting reviewed, is it PC? Any score yet on the PS2 version? I'm still not sure about which version to get, PC or PS2. My heart lies with PC but this game feels like it will play better on console.

The French will complain about anything just to have something to complain about.

The game should play better with a gamepad/controller, regardless of whether it's PC or console.

That's a great result. Even though this particular magazine is quite teh crap, this kind of numbers will sell some extra copies of the game in Finland.

Good, good, very good.

I'll be playing on my PC with all details up, surround and a joypad. I'll leave the fuzzy screen console jockies to squint at their tellys.

I don't have those gadgets you have, squaresie. I don't make as much money as you.

I wasn't that convinced on the the 'crisp' textures on the PC to merit getting that version. And I as far as I can tell the graphics seem 'basic' compared to, say, HL2 - nothing the Xbox can't handle. So for me it's a matter of other things determining which version to get.

.....like whether to play it sprawled comfortably on the sheepskin rug or the couch.
