Default Best voice acting

Hard to choose but I will go with Roy Conrad as Ben. My other favorites are Tim Curry as Gabriel Knight and Tony Plana as Manny.

The guy who voiced Robert Cath. And the girl who voiced Tatiana, the tragic Russian princess. Both in The Last Express.

The guy who did Boston Low in The Dig. He had a very profound voice. And he could sound alone, funny or dramatic. (LOL, just remembered that monologue at the edge of the... dunno what it was, where there were some lights, very funny stuff)

Again, Tim Curry, in Frankenstein. Best voice in the worst game ever.

Robert Cath, yes! My favorite voice was August Schmidt. But all the voices in the Last Express were topnotch. With the possible exception of Kronos. Even Kahina's small part was excellent... "you talk a great deal for a man who knows so little"... aaahhh... she made it sound sooooo menacing.

Every LucasArts game had great voiceacting too.
Sherlock Holmes in the Rose Tattoo.
Little Feeble and the brilliant voice actress who did several NPGs in the game, like Feeble's mother, the girl in the telephone booth, the secretary.
Dalboz in Zork Grand Inquisitor.

Thinking off the top of my head...

All of the Curse of Monkey Island acting was excellent... pretty much every voice was exactly the sort of voice I'd imagine the character having.

Maria and Dr. Morgan in Sanitarium.

Zelda and the "Main Bad Guy" in The Space Bar.

Doug Lee as Indy in Fate of Atlantis... he almost does a better Harrison Ford than Harrison Ford. Sophia's VA was good, too.

Gary Owens in Space Quest 4 & 6.

Mark Hamill as Mosely in Gabriel Knight 1.

Peace & Luv, Liz

DoTT, Sam&Max, Curse of MI.. Yes, every single LA game is voiced professionally.
I choose Bernard, Ben, Guybrush, Murray and Glottis.
Also Woodruff had a wonderful voice, Rincewind (by Eric Idle), computer in Y2K: The Game (by Dan Castellaneta) and lamp in Zork: Grand Inqusitor. Oh, and William S. Burroughs was so great in Dark Eye!

In the Swedish version of TLJ an actress called Regina Lund does the voice of April. She does an excellent job. Compared to (english version) April in Dreamfall which I presume is the same actress as in TLJ, her Swedish voice suits her much better IMO.

That girl who works in the coatroom at Manny Calaveras casino in Grim Fandango.Gotta love her squeeky voice.

I love Christopher Walken, he stars in Ripper so he´s perfect for this thread.
Too bad i can´t get the damn game to work on Windows XP.

EDIT: The girl in Grim Fandango is named Lupe, and is played by Teri Ivens

Speaking of Narrators, John Rhys-Davis was great in Quest for Glory 4.

Has got to be Jack Angel, who voiced Wonkers in Dreamfall. His sad yet comforting voice will haunt me forever.

Rolf Saxon, hands down. Nobody has made me laugh harder--for all the right reasons. When I played Broken Sword 4 and heard his voice, it was like reuniting with an old, dear friend after years of separation.

The voice actors for Gabriel Knight were great and the narrator and cast for QFG4 were awesome.

Oh and also Chief Morssen in Culpa Innata. Gods... she sounded really intimidating and fierce.

And for a cast at large, my vote goes to the folks who participated in Curse of Monkey Island. Can't think of a clinker in the lot.
