Hi,
just a quick question, I've been meaning to pick this game up for some time now and have just had a search on ebay.

The one result I found in the Uk was going for £23, being the cheapskate I am I thought I might be able to find it cheaper so I searched the whole of ebay.

I found quite a few cheap copies from Germany, which gets to my question....

Are the German copies of the game German Language only?
I have a very basic grasp of German and couldn't tell from the sellers blurb.

Any help would be appriciated!

If the word English or Englisch isn't there, you can safely assume the game is in German. But there are 3 cheap (3-7 dollars) copies on American ebay. You have to ask first if they are willing to ship internationally and in my experience 9 out of 10 say yes. Or you could try gametz. Twenty copies available.

Do you have to approach each individual seller and make them an offer?

I think that's how GameTZ works, yes. But you might have to set up an account first.

This game was selling for $4.99 in the US for a long time. You should be able to import one for a lot less than the price you're seeing on eBay UK (unless it's become hard to find?)

I just checked on amazon.com and they have a copy for less than $4 but marketplace doesn't ship to the uk.

The game is worth US$ 10 tops - it's not really very good, and gets downright annoying in some moments. Don't pay 23 pounds for it under any circumstances, unless you are really a collector that must have this title for some reason.

CDAccess has it in stock at U$19.95. They ship worldwide, although I don't know how much it might cost to the UK.

Cheers for the link, it works out at just under £20 which is still a bit much going on what people have said here.

I also noticed that DVD Box office have it in stock for £19.99 but that works out at about $45.

Is it really that rare?

I don't really know if it's all that rare. I've never seen it for sale at an EB or Best Buy, which is one of the reasons why I haven't purchased it. I just don't like online shopping, and the exorbitant S&H costs don't help either.

NothingButSoftware.com used to sell it at $9.99, but their shipping fees are very high, and they no longer have it in stock anyway...

Really? It was $4.99 (new) at my EB for the longest time.

Well, I pretty much visited every EB, Gamestop, Best Buy, FYE, Circuit City and CompUSA store in Miami and Orlando and found no trace of it, or many other Adventure games for that matter.

Perhaps it's just the time in which I visit the US, or maybe Miami and Orlando just have poor stores. I've been asking for it and several other titles over the last few years to no avail. Generally the sales assistant fidgets with the computer a bit and tells me the game is out of stock, unreleased or doesn't exist.
