If you did, you just need to move in the direction that the dot is. Going up if the dot is up, left if dot is left, etc. |

UPDATE:
I've tried using the tracker in every screen at Bayou St. John and I get the same message: 'The tracker doesn't show anything. They must of not taken the sekey modoule to the ritual.' Then Gabriel says: 'Oh, great. Now what?' But I remember putting the signal in the sekey modoule at the Museum. So I'm not sure what I've missed out. |

There's something else you need to do in a different location before you can hope to get anywhere in the bayou, something that would get the Voodoo folks to take the sekey madoule along...
If you have an original copy of the game, there may be direct instructions for what to do in your manual or a leaflet that came with the game. (It's the toughest puzzle in the game, and at least one of the rereleases addressed the borderline unfairness in this way.) |

Last thing I did was get a snake tattoo painted on Gabriel's chest by Grace. I have the Gabriel Knight Mysteries box set. |

Simo, I don't think this is a tough puzzle. At least, I found it pretty obvious. |

The idea is that you write down the symbols during the game that are on the wall and you have them translated so you can write your own messages. To complete this puzzle, assume that doctor john is going to read the wall before going to the ritual. Its easy enough to think of what you should write, but the fact that it has to be in exact wording is a little mean.
So, here it is, straight from the official hintbook: Spoiler: Of course, the second part of the challenge is figuring out what the three untranslated symbols are, but that is really much easier. |

Hendroz: It is reasonably easy to figure out that you need to write on the wall. But how exactly to phrase it probably would present many people with problems - unless they have the manual addendum that literally spells it out.
For those who bought the first-release version - and therefore did not get the extra bit of help (unless my recollection is faulty) - it was probably much tougher, and I was really referring to anyone proceeding from such a position. And of course there are other steps directly linked with this puzzle (or rather, which are part of it) that you have to take in order to even get to the writing stage. So overall it is a fairly challenging puzzle, I think. (Brilliant work on the patches, by the way.) |

Hehe, i'm also playing GK I for the first time right now And i just finished this puzzle one hour ago
But really, it's quite easy to figure out which letter is which. Just look at the two messages. Have you noticed what it says? if so, you won't have any problems figuring it out, since there are some peculiar holes in between some words As long as you know how to spell and pronounce words - it'll be a piece of cake |
