Amerzone/Windows XP

Found this old game at the bottom of a stack of games I have been meaing to go thru for ages. I remembered how much I enjoyed it and want to play it again. Does anyone know of any problems with this game and Win xp?

Welcome to the forum.

I installed and played the beginning of this game on XP without any problem. I didn't get too far, but I at least know it installs okay. (You may need to put the installer and/or the game in compatibility mode.)

I didn't have to do anything but put the disk in the drive, install, and play the game.

I had no problems with Amerzone on XP either.. Nice game

Hi. I actually have a problem with Amerzone on XP. The moment I reach the gate of the lighthouse and I press open the gate, the game freezes. I turned off Hyperthreading but that didn't seem to help.

I have a Pentium 4 3.2 GHz with Hyper threading, 1 Gigs of RAM, a 6800 GT NVIDIA Graphics card, Direct X 9.b. I have win xp installed with service pack 2.

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried putting it in compatibility mode?
