Default 5 Days a Stranger

I'm playing 5 Days a Stranger, and I'm in day 2. I've spoken to everybody, and I think I should drain the pool, but I don't know how. If it includes the metal detector, well, I don't have it yet...

Ask yourself this, what is the guy with the detector looking for? Then ask yourself where you might be able to find something that would prove he can't find it where he's looking.

Like floor plans or something.

Spoiler:
Oh, I didn't know there were different books in the shelf. I thought they were the same mass...
But thanks, I wouldn't have looked there again...

Actually, yes, you need the metal detector. In order to get it, after you ask him if you can borrow his metal detector and he replies that only after he finds the tomb, go back to the library, LooK as the books, I believe the light green ones (if I remember correctly a set of 3 books) on the left hand side of the library. after you have the map, then go back to the garden and give it to the guy with the metal detector. He will then give you the detector, and you have to go back to the pipeline where the pool is. Use the metal detector with the pipeline and it will automatically bring you to the pile, I believe it was the center pile. There just before the dug out hole, on the left side where the dirt is, use your hands a small panel with a red button will appear. click the button once and it will say, "nothing is really happening", but go west, back to the pool, the pool will be drained.

I hope I have been of some help to you. Sinccomic sans mserely,..... Mimitheone

Well, you were quite late, as that little hint by Sky Warrior Bob solved me the problem a long time ago... But thanks anyways.

SPOILERS!!

This is not a hint. I always wondered about one thing in the game:

Spoiler:
When Trilby enters the house, he sees a guy who runs away shouting something like "It's him!". The guy probably means the gost - but in whose form is the ghost at that time?
