Hi, I had this same problem years ago and I managed to get it to play after following all sorts of suggestions on fixing it.
This time it's the same problem. Starforce Encryption comes up saying that there was an error, and the only option I have is to hit 'ok'. Still can't get the game to play.

I've tried redoing the majerk.chr to mejerk.chr and it still won't start. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Even went back to a restore point before I installed the game. Still nothing.

I have Windows Vista. I know I got the game to play the last time but I just can't remember what solution I used to fix it.

Please help me, I really want to play this game again before buying The Black Mirror 2 and 3.

replace the exe file with a no cd exe file . the starforce drivers on the disk doesn't install on vista or win 7
