Default Mastertronic's Broken Sword Trilogy compilation

Hi, I bought this recently and I’m having problems getting it to run.

You see, when I put the disk in, my computer will crash and will not return to normal unless I eject the disk.

Other disks run fine but this won't. I have researched my problem and I am thinking it could be due to the copy protection used on the disk. I know having certain programs installed cause the game to not run, because of the copy protection. I haven't got any "dodgy" programs installed on my computer however. Also, I'm on Vista, which is listed on the back of the case as being compatible.

I don't know what to do and I am getting really frustrated.

Tried pressing "shift" when inserting the CD/DVD? It will disable the autorun routine, which may be what's causing the problem.

Thanks for the reply!

It wasn't the solution to my problem but it did cause me to do what was required to fix it, which was leaving the game in for 10-15 mins.
