Hopkins FBI asking for CD
I got Hopkins FBI with B-Hunter today in that double pack. After reading around I got the game installed using the XP Patch.
Now when I try to run the game it says 'NOT FOUND THE HOPKINS CD' the CD is in my CD drive which is drive E. Anyway I can get round this? Im on Windows 7 also. |

Could you clarify who the double-pack was released by? It may make a difference as games sometimes get updates applied in re-releases so it will indicate what version you are running.
Though everything I've heard about this game suggests it might not be worth the effort.

I think some older games had trouble with multiple hard drives and assumed that the CD drive would always be D I wouldn't have thought Hopkins would be quite old enough to have that issue but it might still be worth changing the drive letter to D and see if that works. just remember to change it back after so it doesn't mess everything else up

in windows 7;
control panel, administrative tools, computer management go down to storage and disk management first you'll need to right click your D drive and change drive letter, just pick anything else that's not already in use once that's done right click your cd/dvd drive and change drive letter to D

Have you tried the simplest thing - running the game's exe in XP compatibility mode?
