Fate by Numbers - Can't start the game

Hello!

After the installation, when I start the game an error message appears right after the Revival-logo.

Quote:

Sorry.

An unexpected error has occurred. Please exit Fate by Numbers. This can be done by pressing and holding the <ALT> key and then pressing the <F4> key.

Error mainform.23 --> Save/Settings.txt file removed?

I downloaded the game from gamershell. It's version 1.1.0 (iso).
Well, I googled and couldn't find anything about this problem. I hope someone can help me
The game looks really great and I would love to play it!

Have you downloaded the patch ?

The patch fixes a saving issue with Windows Vista and several minor bugs.

It's already the latest game version (1.1.0). Well, I tried the patch anyway, but it didn't help either.

I have just downloaded the game from Gamespot,installed it and applied the patch and it run smoothly without any problem....

So maybe you want to follow that procedure just to make sure to don't have a corrupt file or something like that....

Hmm... I downloaded it twice from gamershell, first the big and then the small version. Both versions don't work. That's strange!

Well I'll try to download it from gamespot, maybe the gamershell versions are corrupted...

I have the same problem with the game - error just after the logo. Did you solve it?
