Need help in Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper.
Greetings,
I'm really stuck at a point in the game. I control Dr Watson in Whitechapel after the second murder. I have talked to the fat guy hidden in the pub but after that i don't know where to go. Also, next to the Finley's boarding house, there's a gas smell coming from the abandoned building but i can't find a way to get in. I hope someone "un-stucks" me |

I am not quite sure, but I think I was stuck there as well and kept wandering around quite aimlessly for some time.
Spoiler: BTW, are you already playing the English version? Or the French one? |

I hope the English version will come out here as well soon. My French isn't very good and I am sure I missed many of the finer points of the game.
I am not quite sure what I did afterwards. But ... Spoiler: Unfortunately I cannot check the game right now, since I am at work. But unless you come across the solution in the meantime, I can check when I get home. Oh, and I thought of another thing I missed, that got me stuck: Spoiler: Last edited by Mieze; 05-15-2009 at 06:49 AM. Reason: Added some info |

Thanks again but I've done these too!
The broken bottle is before the 2nd murder and it's back home with Holmes. So far in this visit at whitechapel with Watson i have: -Talked to the witness at the police station. -Retrieved the torn apart statements. -Talked to the fat guy. -Completed the "quest" about the stolen staff of the painter. What do I miss? |

Glad to see that you found it! Yes, sometimes the devil is in the detail.
Maybe I'll be able to help another time. |
