Hello everyone,

Just in case some of you would are annoyed by the low resolution (1024x768) for your big LCD screens here's how to play the game in a window:


Go to your A Vampyre Story\game\assets\scripts\ directory, you'll find here .bin files which are in fact xml scripts, you can find amongst others your saved games.

I don't know if the config file number is generated but mine had the lowest number - 14793.bin. Backup the file then edit it with a simple text editor.

One line will look like this:

<option name="full_screen" value="True"/>

change it to

<option name="full_screen" value="False"/>

Now you can play the game in windowed mode.

If it helps anyone, the full file location on my (Vista) system was:
"C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\A Vampyre Story\game\assets\scripts\14793.bin"

has anyone any idea if the subtitle speed can be adjusted... it's too fast.
