Hi,
I played Empire of the Overmind many years ago but never finished it.
Recently I came across it again and thought I would have another bash.
I've managed to get further this time but there are a couple of puzzles
that have stumped me.
I can't get the ring of invisibility without the giant worm making a meal of
me - I have carried on afterwards, but there must be a way to avoid this.
Further down the line, I can't find a way to get the princess back to the
tower.
She won't cross the desert - not sure if this is because of the scorpion
and I can't think of a way to get rid of the giant spider from the swamp.
Perhaps I'm on the wrong track but any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums rastaban.

I'm afraid I'd never heard of this game before (but it sounds great ) Having looked it up it's a real golden oldie so online hints aren't readily available.

However, I have turned up this site, which appears to be by the original copyright holder for the game (which he has now made freeware) An e-mail to him might elicit some help. It's been a while since the site was updated though so no guarantees.
