Hi,

Just d/l this game from http://adventureshop.gamesplanet.com/US/ and when I try to run the game it flashes up the first screen for about 2 seconds then goes back to the desktop.

I installed DirectX from the install and my system is as follows:

Core2 Duo 6600
Geforce 8800GTX
2GB RAM

Have uninstalled and reinstalled as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you also gotten in touch with the Adventure Shop customer support? It's best to try that first.

Yep sent them an email a few moments ago along with my dxdiag.txt.

Seems this is the problem:

2007-11-28 18-22-37 Error | Cannot create Physics SDK handler
2007-11-28 18-22-37 Error | Physics engine NOT initialized
2007-11-28 18-22-37 Error | Can't initialize engine resources

From the game.log file.

Have installed the original Ageia and the ones from the website (latest ones) still no go.

Thanks to Wael from Frogwares he managed to solve my problem:

"In the game folder please delete the following dll files

- nxcooking.dll, nxextensions.dll, nxextensionsdll.dll, nxfoundation.dll, nxphysics, physXcore.dll, physxloader.dll

Please restart the game, it should work, please let me know"
