Default Games compatible with Windows Vista?

I'm getting a new pc very soon, one that has Windows Vista installed on it.
How will this affect my games? Are the games that i used to run with Windows XP compatible with Windows Vista?
I would be pretty bummed if Paradise and And Soon There We're None wouldn't run on my new computer.
Please tell me if this the case.

Every game that works on XP should work on Vista. Vista Exclusive games don't work on XP.

There should be an emphasis on "SHOULD". Of course, older games designed for Windows 95/98/2000 you will probably have significant problems with. For DOS there is always the DOSBOX emulator, but I will not be "upgrading" to Vista until there is a good Windows emulator for Vista. Some people suggest a dual boot (two operating systems on your computer) so that you can play the old games as well as the new, but that seems inconvenient, too much trouble, and too much unneccessary hard drive space wasted.

Anyway, please let us know how your old game do work on Vista. I would appreciate a rundown of the games you have which do work on Vista and which ones do not work on Vista.

As it turns out my new pc didn't have Vista installed but instead "good ol'" Windows XP. Phew, i was pretty relieved about that.
Both "And Then They We're None" and "Paradise" worked fine on my new comp, unlike on my old crappy machine.
