Tex Murphy Overseer problem
Hi
I've been playing Tex Murphy Overseer the last days, and now I'm completely stuck. I've recived a message from Sonny telling me to talk to the police about mr. Call, and his mysterious death. My problem is that I've talked to Eve to many times, so that when I arrive at the policestation I'm told to find Big Jim Slade before I can talk to her again. Do I just have to load back until before I talked to her, or is there some way I can continue playing? |

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm pretty sure the only instances where you'll have to reload an earlier savegame are those when Tex gets killed. I may be wrong, though. Have you been able to meet up with Sonny personally? He should tell you about Big Jim's whereabouts.

Oh, and thank you |

My memory of the game is pretty hazy. If you remind me what locations you have the access to at the moment, I might be able to help more.
A general piece of advice: many locations disappear after you've done everything that could be done there, so the fact that you can still visit a certain place may sometimes be a clue that you didn't investigate this place well enough. Also, when stuck in this game, it is a good idea to ask the Database about all the issues you haven't yet asked it about.

I managed to talk to her!
Had to go back two times though, but in the end she gave up, and told me what I needed to know.. Thanks for the help anyway.. |

So it's true what they say: persistence is the key! I'm glad you succeeded.
