Default Xbox 360 - Preorders?

Now that i've sold off my xbox stuff, i'm ready for 360. A while back I thought somebody here said they already preordered it at ebgames or gamestop. Can anyone confirm this?

Why don't you go to their site and find out?

Not sure but it may be Maxsie or gah_gah, a thread was started about it.

You could always call the store tomorrow and ask.

You can't pre-order online because Microsoft hasn't set the final price yet. Gamestop and EBgames are more than happy to take a $50 down payment in order to reserve an Xbox 360 for you. I reserved mine at my local Gamestop back on May 13th so I know I will get mine on launch day.

Yeah. I preordered it.

Hahah. Nice. Is it worth doing though, without knowing what games there will be at launch?

Yup, preorder at EB for me, at a price of $499!! They set a max ceiling for what it 'could' be, but nevertheless startling at quick glance.

Cheers

I'd get to the research and see if you want to preorder it with the launch titles.

Did you reserve any games as well? What if you get an xbox360 and then they run out of games? Then what will you do? Stare at it?

Anyway, I found a list Here

I'm excited about:
2 Days to Vegas
Alan Wake
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
Call of Duty 2
Condemned
Dead Rising
The Elder Scrolls IV
.....

Oh man, this is turning into a big list. But it says "every xbox game," so i'm wondering how many of those will make it at launch.

I'll be the first one to get it in town. There's no way I'll be left in the dust.

I'm gonna buy 10 360's and sell them on EBAY.

Why? Why not just let people who want them have them, instead of ****ing them in the ass over it? I hope you do it, and you get less for it, like people who bought PSP's and tried to make a profit on ebay.

360's are much more highly anticipated than PSP's. I'm sure they will at least get you the money back.

I know you are just jealous and you would do it if you had the money

No, actually I wouldn't. I'd rather work and earn my money than to suck peoples blood like a leech for it.

Hey, they paid the price. They brought it on themselves.
