This week = shameful. Crap games selling lots of copies, F-Zero GX is down to no32 after two weeks! At least Worms 3D is selling a bit better this week :/

Next weeks releases include: Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon (yay), Mario Kart: Double Dash (which has yet to recieve any promotion), LOTR Return of the King (yawn), Pokemon Pinball (cash-in), Amped 2, Beyond Good And Evil and Terminator 3..

Good and bad news for nintendo. The gamecube now holds 25% of the market in Europe and is selling at a faster rate than the Xbox.. But its behind in the UK where sales are down 15% this week while the Xbox is up 3%..

I'm glad to see that people seem to appreciate Pro Evolution Soccer 3. It should be in the top spot, and Fifa 2004 shouldn't even be on the list. Of course, nothing is as it should be.

It's a pity that F-Zero's not getting enough attention. I haven't played it myself, but from what I've heard it's supposed to be absolutely fantastic.

I thought True Crime would be #1. It may be a complete clone of GTA, but it's a really good clone.

When does Tony Hawk Underground come out in Europe?

And Beyond Good and Evil out next week?????

It's kinda shameful to say it, but I'm almost looking more forward to that than BS3..... Will buy them both as soon as possible, though.

I received an e-mail from Nintendo about it... and the irritating popup at the Dutch Nintendo site had this game in it... but I agree with you, all this is because I visit Nintendo regularly...

Zelda WW, Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime all had major campaigns.. they had TV ads, were featured and had advertising in the non-videogames press and there were other things like Zelda's bonus disc, Mario sponsoring Desmond Lynams facial hair.. and the like.. these three titles all were mutliformat no1's...

...F-Zero GX and Mario Kart havent had advertising or any attention at all outside of nintendo's website, the nintendo magazines and to subscribers of the nintendo newsletters... even Pikmin got a TV ad.. (pikmin also went top 3.. f-zero didnt.)

It'll probably get up to 3 or 4, but I hope it'll go straight to the top.

I've just had a quick peek at Play.com - in their "top sellers" charts, it's at #9 in both PC and Xbox sections, and at #14 in the PS2 section... not bad!
