OK, I'm confused
Just Adventure published a review of Fable... am I wrong or is that in no way an adventure game?

You're correct! They did also review Doom3, by the way

That's why there's a "plus" sign in their name - they are into adventures plus just about anything else that could in any way be conceived of as being "an adventure".
In other words, they're sh1t. At least, in my opinion.

JA+ is much more loose in its inclusiveness, vansau, so they'll pretty much grab anything remotely suggesting adventure. Including Doom 3......

Oh well, I think it's fine that they review action/adventures and other games that could be of interest to the average adventurer, although they tend to review a few games that doesn't seem to fit in. Even for an adventure site that is "loose". |

True. BeTrapped did have some adventure elements, but could not be called a classic adventure, that's also the reason that the game was not covered very extensively. For instance, there was never any review of the game. The game was covered to some extent due to it being made by Jane Jensen, and that should make it interesting enough to the general adventurer. We did also cover Magna Cum Laude in our news, since it is, after all, a part of the Leisure Suit Larry series. |

Ja
I like Just Adventure as well as this site. For me, it's not an "either or" thing.
The Doom 3 review was brilliant. The reviewer elected to review Doom 3 from the perspective of someone who plays adventure games. There were some wonderful comparisons to other games, in that review. I can't recommend the Doom 3 review in Just Adventure highly enough! |

You could do the new title this way: "Adventure Gamers... we also like games with guns and magic, but Adventure Gamers just sounds better, don't you think?" with the last bit as kind of a subtitle

Don't do it. Don't be fooled by the Jensen sellout. There's nothing to see here. Now please move along.

BeTrapped - "casual" online game by the designer of the Gabriel Knight series. Not at all what a lot of us wanted to see from her (esp. after the adventure game she was working on was put on hold).
