Default Quick GBA SP question

I need a very quick answer if anyone is online -

Is there a way to save a game with the GBA SP? Such as, if I get The Urbz when it comes out, is it going to make me start anew each time I reset the SP?

No, you shouldn't have to, the game will probably have a save feature, like a lot of games on the GBA

Some even have a "sleep" feature, which let's the GBA SP use less energy while still on...

The save game from my old NES games are still good, so the one from the GBA SP whould last even longer!

Are you thinking of buying one or do you have it already?
If you are thinking of buying a GBA SP, why not the Nintendo DS which is around the corner?
AFAIK, it's backwards compatible and can play GBA and even GBC games!

DS isn't compatible with GBC games.

If it is, then give me proof, Tanu.

It isn't? Errare humanum est A.K.A. OOPS!...
Not even the GBA enhanced GBC games?
Figures... But I'll still give it a try when it's out...

I am not interested in the DS - I only want the GBA SP Classic NES edition. There aren't a ton of games I want; mostly the original Mario and some of the video cartridges (I don't have cable nor satellite, and I need my Cartoon Network and Spongebob fix.) Besides which, I have an employee discount at EB Games now, on top of my Edge discount on used games.

I have the slightest idea that the games where you couldn't save are decades old...

Well probably, but I didn't know if you could save games on a handheld console... you used to not be able to. So I don't keep up with the handheld market. *shrugs*

*drool* Look what is on it's way to my house!

We don't have any at work but the EB Games website got ONE in, which I promptly ordered.
