Now I've finished NOLF2.

Anyone knows if there is a sequel planned?

I found it to be both better and worse. The gameplay is better (although the first one had some good gameplay moments it overall was rather a bore). The interaction, story and humour are somewhat worse.

This has to do with the following spoiler:

In NOLF1 it was great fun to watch the dialogue between Smith (Smithy) on one hand and Cate on the other discussing various things with great heat. This antagonism between them were a great driving force of the game and something I missed sorely in the sequel. It was unfortunate that they let Smith be a traitor in the first one, because he was needed for the sequel.

NOLF came in 2000, NOLF2 came in 2002.
