i read it may have the same engine as elder scrolls IV...and that bethesda said they were sticking to what style of game they do best with fallout 3, which could be good or bad or confusing, depending on your perception of what this means...anyhow it is still in the pre-development stage so i wouldnt look for this game for many moons

All true. It's also been revealed that the game will be maintaining SPECIAL, which is good to know.
