Default Max Payne 2 Gold

Check it out: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/031006/65299_1.html

I think I'm going to load up and play all the way through the original one more time (just to get myself more excited then I already am), be back in about five hours...

http://www.gamershell.com/news_BMaxPayne2BGold.shtml

I may not buy it right away considering my plate is very full with other games (played some Syberia yesterday and Splinter Cell the night before). But I remember when I got the first Max Payne the day it came out. It was a hot day in summer, I rode my bike from my apartment for 3 miles all the way to the nearest Gamestop. That was precious.

Woohoo!

Sucks that it's out on 24th in Europe..

I mean, why do we, Icelanders who have no need for some special translated version, have to wait while the Germans and French can have theirs?!

If I hadn't got so many games on my hands right now, I start to play the first one while waiting the sequel.

Only one week...

Stunning. Absolutely Stunning.

Friggin gorgeous. So is Mona a playable character in this one? (Just guessing based on that first screenshot)

No, she isn't playable. But just you wait for a mod.

Oh, and I've watching her repeatedly in the full trailer. Oh my god! She looks flat out breathtaking. One of the most beautiful, stylish, and intelligently conceived game heroine, up there with Cate Archer.

Well, I don't know if I could make such a judgement based on a trailer, but she certainly looks good. The scene when Max's voiceover says "This is love...love hurts" and she runs away is really cool.

Just like some major airlines are equipping their pilots with guns, I think Adventure Gamers should give us thread creators moderator privileges within our threads, so we can defend ourselves against hijackings of this type. Or they could give us guns. Either way.

Back on topic: Yeah, the new trailer is sweet. I just preorderd this game along with Matrix Reloaded on DVD, so I should be all set as far as getting my fill of slow motion action for awhile.

I guess this would be a good time to buy a new PC. My old one won't be able to run Max Payne 2 I'm afraid.
One of you guys happen to have an extra two or three 1000€ bills lying around?

The trailer is just so... jizz-tastic! I cream myself just thinking about that scene where Max jumps through the window of a restaurant, or whatnot.

Hmm, I just kind of realized that the game will be on 24th also in Finland, not 15th.

Now I'm not happy...

I jsut (re)completed Max Payne 1 today.... I don't know if that was so wise, since I got kinda tired of it at the end.... I guess it was because I'd played through all the shoot-outs before. It was nice to see that we were never sure if Mona really died, though... I was wondering about that.
