Looks good. Is it going to be the same story as the first X-Com or an original one?

It is similiar to the first one, but not the same.

Anyways, I can't wait for this game, but I find myself caring more for the FPS XCOM for the sake of being in a different perspective, more creative story and direction, and from the creators of Bioshock. Like I said on Gametrailers.com. I'm not bashing this game. I just don't see why the other game doesn't get much mention anymore. Seriously, haven't heard much. :/

Maybe because the dudes from Irrational are busy with Boishock Infinite.

After Syndicate, Shadowrun, etc., why would it? Not everyone has a ridiculous infatuation for Bioshock to be that eager to see yet another one turned into a fps.

Syndicate was good. People loved Shadowrun. You're acting like they did a bad job on them....though I didn't like Shadowrun for the fact that it was.....a stupid Multiplayer FPS.

Really? Who's the philistine? Let me see: IGN gave it a 6.9, Gamespot 6.8...yeah, metascore is 66 out of 100. But it doesn't matter if they're "good" or not cause they're all just cashgrabs, especially Syndicate since it's just trying to replicate Deux Ex:HR success.

EDIT: Well, thanks to you I've just found this funny review:

After the jump, why Syndicate is called Syndicate:
There’s furthermore some nonsense about chips in our brains, which is Syndicate’s forced attempt at a connection with the original Syndicate (...) It’s every generic shooter you’ve forgotten you played, come back to be forgotten again. Oh, did I mention there’s bullet time? Because there’s bullet time (...) What else do you expect from a game without soul or perspective, that offers instead an obligatory train mission, an obligatory minigun, and a few obligatory hopping cyberninja boss fights? (...)
