does anyone play second life?

so i recently became aware of second life because apparantly they're linking a csi new york show to it and you can look around a crime scene. i signed up but i'm not sure what to make of it.

does anyone here play second life? is it any fun? are there any good sites with gameplay tips cause their website is awful support wise?
