If you get the connection warning, provided that your Internet connection works without problems in general, then, as has been already said, I also suggest you try searching for different servers.
Qtracker is a nice freeware application that can find and list servers, based on the region(s) you specify it (the ones that are located closer to you apparently) and sort them based on their ping and response time (the lower the better). It can make server search much easier, the moment you get the hang of how it works. |

About to start playing BF2 again for a while since my 360 died. Tried the beta of 2142 but never really liked it, was hooked to BF2 for a long time though.
Both games are pretty dodgy bug wise, I remember having connection warning messages a fair bit at times. |

I bought BF2 but soon afterwards my Overclocking/volting killed my ram and I went from 1GB to 512MB. BF2 does not like 512MB
