I have something to ask about far cry

i just got the full game (after i did a big upgrade for my computer

)
in the game i know i can change the view from first person view
to third person view how can i do that?

You can? I dont see how that would work for a FPS.

I was talking about a Farcry style FPS, its not Splinter Cell.

i press F1 but nothing happen.....

Don't think you can change to third person view in Far Cry. If you had the manual, you'd know that already.

I'm pretty sure you can't change the viewpoint. I don't understand why you would want to anyway. If you really want a game in which you can do that go play Jedi outcast/Jedi Academy

Edit: Oh wait i think it happens automaticly when you use a hangglider. Don't know about the other vehicles. maybe you mean that

oron, check out this link and scroll down to the Devmode.lua heading, there is some info there. See if that works for you.

You can't play FarCry retail in the third person, it is first person only. You can change your avi appearance for multiplayer play, or for selection purposes but can only play in the fhird person in the SandBox Editor, the game editor that comes with the game, you can test your mod and map making work in the editor by pressing G and that will start up the game and you can see it in third person there. Otherwise you are with first. It is a great game and very very well done, one of the very best of the second gen FPS games I have studied. The new Crytek game coming out later this year will go way beyond Crysis. For now, enjoy that great game and there are excellent maps to play and mods as well, visit www.crymod.co and the far cry community maps site. Enjoy.

I should add you can play in developer mode in third person , debug mode, if you set up a specia bookmark for the shortcut, using the edittor, refer to the manual for SandBox for that.
