If you didn't like none of the games I recommended, I advise you to sell your Ps2 and buy a Ps3 or an Xbox 360 after you finished God of War 2 because apparently there aren't any other games left to satisfy your gaming needs.Oh and the new POP game will be exclusive to Wii.You might also like to try the new Splinter Cell game maybe.

Well if you have the MGS 3 :Subsistence and a net connection for your PS2 you can try Metal Gear Online. Also as I said in my earlier post you might also like the Splinter Cell series.

There are plenty of good games, but you just don't like the good games. I suggest you give up the search. If you don't like the good games, I assume you won't like the bad ones either.

The only games that come to my mind in that context are Samurai Warriors series, Onimusha series,Tenchu series, the LOTR series and DMC3.

I heard Onimusha 4 is the worst in the series. I played 1-3, and all of them are excellent. Never bought Onimusha, 'cause there was many other games I had to get first.

Onimusha 3 got rid of the tank-controlled (Resi-style) character and made it camera-relative instead. Made the gameplay a lot easier, but at the same time spoiled the game somewhat. I don't know why, but I never had a big problem with the resi-style control system in Onimusha for some reason.
But I didn't find Onimusha 3 as good as the others 'cause the time-travelling thing really ruined the atmosphere. I couldn't take the game very seriously anymore. Time-travelling is a no-no in any half-serious game, imo. Only works in humorous games. Okay, DOTT and Shadow of Memories was great, but as a thumb rule, time travels is usually a bad idea in games. |
