Auto Assault open beta

Auto Assault is an MMOCC (MMO-Car Combat

). The beta is only playable between 6 and 10PM on Thursdays and from Saturday 9 AM till Sunday 9PM, what timezone however, I haven't figured out yet. Looks to be an awesome game, similar to Twisted Metal only less absurdistic and hopefully with insane amounts of people fighting each other.

Heh. I was technically in the closed beta, but the times at which the game was available were entirely unsuitable for someone living in the UK, so I never actually got to play it

Oh well, I registered and perhaps I'll be up late enough one time to try it (what am I saying, I'm always up late

Tried it. Both runs and looks like shit. But then, I read in Edge Magazine this month they thought the same, so I didn't expect much either.

Too bad, Twisted Metal was awesome, so why can't they make it work online?

Because it's not Twisted Metal. It's an RPG. Get Burnout, Flatout or Full Auto for that experience, but don't get it at Auto Assault unless they sort out the hideous performance.

True, I guess I was expecting too much. Full Auto still sounds awesome though, guess the two games got a little mixed up in my memory

Ive heard allot of good things about it...but everyone i know whos playing it is playing the File Planet beta
