Pokemon cartoons are dumb, but the gameboy RPGs are a'ight. I think the concept is perfect for an MMO, in which you'd rack up both your trainer's skillz, as well as those of your animals. It should be an ultra-realistic approach, in which you can participate in illegal pokecock-fights to the death!

I happen to love Pokemon the RPG (R/B/Y, G/S, etc) but I despise the over attention the show recieved. If you ask me Nintendo struck gold with those games, but ruined their image with people due to that stupid anime tripe.

My fav in the game was always Alakazam.

Playing pokemon for hours and then loading them up onto stadium was a great time for me. Now I have to deal with emulation, because the original systems are long gone from me. Too bad the N64 emulation scene is tough though....and LOVES to lock up on my PC.

Btw - anyone who avoids these games just because of what the show and its pathetic "PIKAAAACHU" syndrome has caused, at least try the original to see what the fuss is about. It's quite fun IMO

I look forward to Pokemon on the DS. I just hope they update things other than just the Pokemons.

If that isn't the understatement of the century...

I think it's one of the best franchises of all-time.
