Yeah, Flux had already pointed out its gold status in a post above.
Unfortunately I don't expect to have a 360 anytime soon so won't be able to enjoy it (I know my humble laptop won't be able to play the PC version).

Yeah, I doubt I'll be able to play it myself, but that's fine, currently I'm very busy cleaning up the Temple of Elemental Evil.

I'm preordering because I'm getting it cheaper this way than from a Finnish store, but I want it to arrive ASAP. If I ordered when the game was released, I'd have to wait a few days, nearly a week if I'm unlucky.

I'm waiting for them to release the obligatory Gold edition with expansion pack(s) included. As I know that I'll never play the expansion pack content if I play the game before they get released .

I couldn't care less about expansion packs yet, I'll probably get fed up with the game way before it's released, like with WoW.
Anyway, isn't it kinda sad that "Oblivion will look like shit" is the topic-title for the (appearently) official Oblivion topic on the forum? |

From EuroGamers
It's finally here - well, nearly; Take-Two has announced that PC and Xbox 360 title The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be out in Europe by the end of the month. About time too, some might say - the RPG was originally rumoured to be an Xbox 360 launch title, and later we were told it would be out by Christmas... Only for the release date to slip into "early 2006". Still, March is sort of early 2006, and Oblivion looks wicked, so we'll forgive them. As well as the standard version of the game, you'll be able to pick up a collector's edition, which will include a 112 page guide to the empire of Tamriel, a 'Making of' DVD documentary, and a replica Septim gold coin. Advertisement "Our most ambitious project ever is finally done," said executive producer Todd Howard. "We're excited to get the game into everyone's hands and let them experience it for themselves. We hope they enjoy it. I think it's our best game yet." The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is out on March 24th.

I broke down and preordered it. I still think preordering is silly!
