Heheh, nice colors! (and weird?)
Of course Europe again gets the dvd version of the game, as usual. But I'm quite happy with my US version. If I could get the Euro dvd version with Tim's signature, maybe then I'd buy it.

I would have definetly picked up a copy if i never grabbed a second hand one while in america.
But i wonder...will it be a budget price of £20-25 or a full priced release of £35-40?

I like the colours - it should stand out on shelves more. And I wish I'd waited for the DVD version.
Mind you, the reason you won't have heard about the release is that it doesn't seem to have received much attention. I haven't seen any adverts, yet, and the only reason I know the release date is because I receive industry magazine MCV... |

Wow! There's two things that persuade me to buy this one as well as the American version I already have: I'll own the game on DVD and the alternative colours! I liked the subtly green, but this one, though slightly less nice, is cool too. Yeah!

The price is so cheap that I've quickly started thinking about acquiring also this European release. (also for the same reasons that Flux stated)

And of course, the noble cause of supporting Tim. Of course.

Of course.
(Tim should start selling this euro version also, so that we could buy it directly from him.)

I like the box-art, but I don't see why they had to remove the background art from the purple fields.
Anyway, 25/11 seems like forever.

I hate this time of year. GTA: Liberty City Stories, Pro Evolution Soccer 5, Phoenix Wright, Castlevania DS, Advance Wars: DS... so many games, so little time.
And this is just this month, what about November and December? Civilization IV, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Xbox360, Dragon Warrior VIII w/FFXII demo etc etc Will I afford christmas this year, I wonder... |

I'm a slight pc-fan. Hence Civilization IV. Oblivion will probably be bought for PC too. I'm not sure yet which Xbox360 titles I'm getting yet. Maybe NFS: Most Wanted. Hmmm, no. I'll save that for my PS2 with playseat and Driving Force Pro.

On the 14th of October I'll be licking the lock on the front door of the gaming store. An uglier box is not nearly enough to stop me.

Maybe I'm alone in thinking that the purple/yellow design is more visually striking and far more interesting, then?
I agree, though, that the loss of detail in the purple swirl thing seems unnecessary. |

Right now I'd buy it on that box alone. It looks tons better than the US one. With added background shit in the swirl, it would've been vastly superior.
(*fondles with Warhammer models, while watching Star Trek*) Oh, and, man do I have to buy this game when I have some money!

I love the colours in the European version and since I don't have a copy of the game yet (they were out when I ordered other stuff from the DF Shop) I'm definitely going to buy a copy when it'll become available. |

OK! So you guys are getting a release now that's good, but will this help result in it being released here in Australia! I haven't seen it in a single shop anywhere here! Man does that suck...
