About Resolutions
I'm embarrassed for asking this considering how tech savvy I am, but can somebody explain resolutions to me? I mean, when I set mine to anything above 1024X768, the picture doesn't fit my monitor screen completely. Why would you want that?

Either your monitor doesn't support those resolutions or you have to manually adjust the screen size to fit from your monitor controls.

No, it supports them, but I have to adjust my screen every time I want to play a game, and then readjust it when i stop playing the game? That's so lame!

Have you got an old monitor? Not that many of them do that now, and since DVI it doesn't happen. If it's not the monitor then something has gone wrong.

Your monitor should remember its size/position/pin settings for each resolution. You will probably have to manually set it ONCE for each resolution you use, but after that it should switch between them without requiring recalibration.
