Default Gold Rush

I can't believe there's a Sierra game I'd never heard of! Sounds fantastic and truly ahead of it's time.

But the link taking you to the site to buy it shows the collectors ed isn't available.

Yeah, great game. It's funny I remember the beginning and end of the game, but can't for the life of me remember any of the puzzles in the three different routes... Probably as I've played the beginning and end three times and the middle bits once each...

Goldrush is a true classic. It has a wonderful sense of freedom, and the gaming world feels very realistic.

One of the must-plays if you're a Sierra fan

Is Gold Rush one of theose like Oregon Trail? Where you have to decide what to buy/bring with you? I played one of those type about the Alaskan gold rush, but I don't recall the name of it.

Not sure what you mean, exactly. Is the problem with the link or the site itself? The link's working fine for me, but if the latter, I believe the game is still available. They just don't have an online purchasing system.

Depends... There's a difference between the California (1848) and the Alaskan (1898) Gold Rush. Also, GR! isn't altogether about deciding what goods you have to take with you - it's a (dead end) puzzle in two of the three expeditions to California.

I have never heard of this game and I must say that it sounds great.

Maybe the one I'm thinking about is Yukon something...

Wow, this is a very old game. I think I still have that one.
