I think thats a great idea, especially as it's now freeware. A whole new generation of Agers who've maybe not ever played or even heard of the game would be able to find out more about another of Revolution's great adventures.

(P.s. Whatever happened to Cruise For a Corpse? I thought Stinger was playing it for a future Flashback Friday some months ago?)

Meh good luck. I couldn't play Cruise for a Corpse when it was new, on my 60MHz PC, you'll have a job playing it on a modern PC

I wonder if it works with DosBox? I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Cruise works fine on my 550mhz, and my brothers 1.2ghz.

It works fine on ScummVM... I haven't had time to really start playing it though.

I bought a copy of Cruise for a Corpse a few months ago, but never with the intention of reviewing it. It's pretty far down on The List right now, I'll probably get to it around September and October, and I guess if no one else has by then I'll write a review.

Your wish is our command, btw; I've assigned someone to review BASS today, and you'll be seeing it in the next couple of months!

(see how easy it is to get your favorite game reviewed around here?)

I say you should boost Cruise For A Corpse to the top of your list... it's worth it.

Ah ok, my mistake.

What did you think of it?

Cruise for a corpse is a quite nice game, even if it has some bad tendencies of get one information and go around everywhere to check if someone else has something to say about it.

Another great game was Operation Stealth (from the same developers as Cruise for a Corpse, albeit completely different). That deserves a review too

I agree with that as well. Operation: Stealth and Cruise For A Corpse are some of the best non-Sierra or Lucasarts adventures. These games as well as The Colonals Bequest and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade were my favourite adventures on the Amiga.

I almost forgot about how great a game BASS was (and still is) until I started playing it again recently, thanks to ScummVM.

The atmosphere... wow.
