Default Skip to Last Post?

Is there any chance (no idea if this is possible with your board provider) to implement a little feature that would allow forum members to skip to their last post in threads? If you're following a big thread you often want to read on from where you last contributed, and it can be difficult to trawl through pages on pages to find that point.

Just an idea.

Well, there is the "View first unread" option. Granted, it's not exactly what you ask about, as it takes you to the first post that hadn't been there the last time you opened the thread. But I believe it's actually more useful than taking you to your own last post (because you might have read past that point previously). Isn't it?

EDIT: Just in case you don't know what I am talking about (in fact, many people miss it), take a look:

Why does this thread make me think of people skipping in time to a bugle call?

Because you always did like to mess around on Remembrance day?

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Spoiler:
Yes I have a point, the answer would be something like, oh, it wanted to see the latest posts or something...

Shouldn't that be why did the chicken skip across the road?

I think the "View Last Unread" does the job fine even if it seems to forget where I was sometimes (I'm pretty sure its something I've done wrong)

When I use view first unread, it just shows me the first unread on that page.. When there's been several pages since my last read, I have to manually find my first unread post..

Well, Firefox works without problem for me for that too (but I click on the little arrow next to the thread's title on the threads list; maybe clicking on first unread when already in the thread behaves differently and stays on the same page?).

Thats what the arrow is for.. Aaah.. well that works. Clicking the arrow on the main genre forum takes me to my first unread post even though it's a few pages back..

Thanks..
