Default Hey

Is it possible for you guys to make it so that if you want to post a poll on a thread, but forget to, you can edit the thread so you can post a poll? No? k.

You can always delete the thread and start another one with the poll.

I didn't know you could delete threads. I've tried before.

I'm not sure if you can delete threads or not. Possibly before nobody posts to it, but I don't actually know (and can't check because as a mod I can always delete threads). If you've tried it before and couldn't do it then, chances are you can't do it now either.

I also don't know if the ability to add polls after the fact is something that can be given to regular users. A lot of these permissions are dictated by the forum software. You can always ask a mod to add a poll for you, though.

k. And just for the record, you can't delete threads no matter what.

I remember being able to delete a thread before I became a mod (of course, that could have been a function of the board before it got upgraded). But I wouldn't recommend it, especially if others have already made posts in it. If you find yourself really needing to add a poll, Maxsie, you can ask one of us.

You at least used to be able to delete threads if no one had posted in them... Or was that another forum?
