Default I just had an interesting idea

What if I were to move to Canada for a year or so? What would I need?
How could I find a nice city, nice apartment and maybe some kind of job/school to go to?

This might all be just some kind of crazy man talking in the middle of night, slightly drunk, but does anyone have any ideas?
I really could need some dramatic changes in my life right now.

[I really don't know that if I should even post this, maybe I should just go to sleep)

As a Finnish person, you should have an easy time fitting in. You guys share hockey, drinking, and cold weather.

I've always dreamed of going to Canada.
There's just something interesting about that country.

It just feels like the right place for me to go to.
For many years I have thought that I should someday visit Canada, and be there for a longer time, for example a year.

And during these past months I've started to think that maybe something should be done, because there are a lot of things that just don't seem to be working right here where I am now.

What's not working for you where you currently are?

Well, one thing was that I didn't got to school, again. (As some might remember...)
One other thing is that I've started changing some of my priorities, floorball isn't going to be *that* important part of my life anymore, because I'm a bit pissed off with recent stuff that has happened concerning my career etc. in that sport. (and floorball has been *a huge* part of my life during these last ten years)

Third thing is that I started talking with a friend of mine who is very likely going to go abroad to study for year somewhere. I started thinking that some kind of solution like that might be very good for me. At least I'd see the world a bit and not just be always here in the same place.

Canada isn't the only option of course, it just is the place where I really, really would want to go.

Someone on another forum was listing all the documents and things that are necessary to apply for a work visa in Canada, and it seems they're not very welcoming to foreigners. Check into this before considering a move there, especially if it's just a temporary move.
