Bummer. His Star Trek character is who I'm named after.

So long, Mr. Doohan.

He was an excellent actor. May he rest in peace now.

R.I.P., Scottie. You were quite a cutie, 'specially with your hot little accent.

Quite fitting

Time to dig out the Star Trek movies for another watch, methinks.

RIP

That's really sad. He was always one of my favourite Star Trek characters (and one that I always recognised).

I'm beginning to worry about my state of mental wellbeing. I actually found that tribute thing emotional, despite it taking the piss out of the man in places.

Maybe I just need sleep...

It did? Then I'm sorry, I didn't notice.

Maybe I need sleep too...

the "despite becoming fat" bit was a bit of a cheap jibe - the thing appeared to mean well, though. And he did become fat, though I always thought he looked far more distinct and interesting when he had the moustache and the paunch in the films - he looked a little too square-jawed and identikit in the original series.

I must have missed that one - I thought it said "despite becoming old", or something like that.

But it is true, the Scotty that I remember best is the mustached one - he really looks more interesting.

Only on an adventure games board would a Star Trek-related conversation be welcome (aside from StarTrek.com, obviously). For that we can all be greatful .
