I don't hate you at all! You are a very passionate person in defending your beliefs and I respect that. And I find you very interesting and intelligent - why would I hate you? I enjoy reading your thoughtful posts! I do have favorites, but not just one. I too, miss Easily Confused, mag's flirting partner. And others I'm fond of: Trep - how could anyone not love our very own Trep? Scott - our newest best-loved advisor and friend Kingz and Bastich - our lovable grinches Gilly, Wormsie and Ninth Elton and SamIamsad SamNMax and Jazhara Pinksie and Boytoy Scrugsie and Nutty Gal Jake, Erwin, Guybrush Guy, Mattsius FOV and Jackal SquareJawHero and many, many others And I miss Simo, who decided I was worthy of his friendship during that obscenely long thread - then he disappeared. It's hard to pick one favorite - there are so many great people here. Love all y'all Lynsie

I like a bunch of people here (pretty much everyone, really, which is why I'm hanging around here in the first place), but if I had to name one, well, the way fov always seem to spend her free time sending save games or trying to solve technical problems always floors me. So it'll be her.

I was considering creating a new account on Adventure Forums and nominating myself with a comment such as: "after extensively researching and analysing every post ever written in these forums, I have come to the conclusion that Omloflump is by far the greatest. I've decided to write a thesis on him and argue that you can find out all you need to know about 'the human condition' simply by reading his posts. A few professors and myself are currently working on a campaign for awarding him the Nobel Prize for literature". But, out of sheer modesty, I decided against it.
So who's my favourite member? Well, I think you can work that out for yourselves. |

Far too many to pick just one.
I will, however, say that fov is the reason for my original participation on the forum (this fact may actually lower your standing with the other forumites, Emily ). My first post was going to be a hit-and-run technical query but, after fovily's friendly and considerate replies, I knew I'd found somewhere special. Thanks for making me feel welcome here. And thanks to everyone else (you know who you are) for continuing to make this my very favourite spot on the net. Last edited by simpson_yellow; 07-19-2005 at 03:41 AM. |

Though I'm often odd man out here because of my tastes, I stick around AG mainly because of the lively discussions and the well spoken contributors:
FOV, FGM, MSZV and Jackal - who I first met at GB SJH, Betje and Lucien - who I met at JA BJ - who introduced me to this forum in the first place. Once here, I've been entertained by the often flamboyent, though always eloquent Trep. The repartee between members is priceless, and the chit-chat forum always has activity going on. Oh, and I feel I have a special bond with Thrift Store Scott mainly because we are both looking forward to Rhem 2 .

While he isn't the 'best member', in my eyes, I must admit I kind off miss Bacardi Jim. Maybe because he brought in that extra spunk or something.
As for the best member of the forum: There are too many to name, and I'd undoubtedly forget a few names so I'm not even going to start. Besides, everyone's got his or her own specialties here --Erwin

Man, this thread is turning into one big love fest.
It's like one of those DVD commentaries where there constantly praise each other on what a great job they did. -I'm just jealous

I couldn't really pick. I like SamnMax when he was still the friendly joker instead of the mean bully joker
I liked GreenJeans when she was still here. JeansVerts.
