Remember the TV of your youth?
Well, its mainly British but tons of yanks on another board I visit are going crazy for the international stuff on this site -
http://www.tv-ark.org.uk/ It's superb, especially for brits. Check out the childrens section for classic Aardman in Morph, and look under K for Kia Ora for one of the best drinks adverts ever. IT'S TOO ORANGEY FOR CROWS!

i used to love that big animated chewit dinosaur, then they replaced him with a cartoon animation and it stank.
guiness ads are all class. 1984's wrigleys always remind me of scooby-doo good stuff but some is way too old for a young'n like me. |

Worzel Gummidge! Totally forgotten about him. "Loveable scarecrow" my ass! He always freaked me out.
Bah, I shouldn't have looked at that site. Guess I'll be sleeping with the light on tonight... |

Ah, the fond (and not so fond) memories.
Have you tried http://tv.cream.org/ at all? They've got a great TV themes directory and a snacks gone by section called Best Before. Plus a load of stuff, much of which they've put up since I last visited. Now I'm going to have to spend hours delving through TWO classic TV sites.

For me it has to be Dr Who, with Tom Baker as "The Doctor"
This was in the early 70's, and the episodes with The Daleks were some of the scariest tv moments ever!!! I know people joke about this, but I really did hide behind the sofa during any episodes involving The Daleks........ |
