A t-shirt made for hiking, and it's sticking to me because of static cling. I don't know what it is about hiking shirts that causes that to always happen.

Erm, it's the fabric. Chances are your t-shirt is made of synthetic fibre.

Yeah, man-made fibers are a pain when placed next to the skin.
Black T-shirt emblazoned with the "Superman" logo and baggy jeans here...ya gotta love 100% cotton.
