Username Change

I'm thinking of changing my username. Quite frankley, I'm tired of the username New_Order. Firstly, people always associate me with the band, which I'm not a big fan of. Secondly, having the word 'new' in your username is never a good idea. Thirdly, underscores are so yesterday. I want to change it to simply "Glenn". Good or bad idea?

Well, it's your username so you have to live with it, but just "Glenn" is a little lacking in imagination in my opinion. Perhaps "Gamer Glenn", or add something that makes reference to your hobbies or interests outside of adventure games? That's how I came up with "Thrift Store Scott".
For me, it was either that or use one of my other nicknames:
"Skeeter"- A little too Southern, even for me.
"Pearl Harbour"- My birthday is December 7th, and there is a whole segment of society that knows me by this name only, but I didn't really care to be mistaken for a woman at every turn.
"Mc", "Mac", "Mack"- My last name begins with Mc, but I figured there would be far too many variations on this theme around already. Not as many here as I thought there'd be, but still...nah.
There are also a whole bunch of obvious nicknames that relate to my last name, but I'm not closely related to the originators of these pop-culture evergreens, and have always tried to distance myself from association with them.
Did that help, or just muddy the waters further? I agree that a change might be appropriate, since I too assumed you were a fan of the band "New Order".

I think it is a good idea, if it will make you feel better. If you keep the same avatar, everyone will know it is you. How about the name "G-Man?"
