Default Anyone ever have this problem using Mozilla Firefox?

The program doesn't seem to open, despite me turning the computer off, restarting etc. I'm now using Internet Explorer, which I hate. Same thing happened to my older version of Mozilla Firefox, so I downloaded the latest version, and now it's happening again!

I had the same problem. You have to uninstall Firefox, and remove all the profile files by hand. All of them. You know you have removed all of those files when you can install Firefox so that it works.

First uninstall Firefox. f you have many versions of it, uninstall all of them.

I assume you are using Windows XP. One folder you need to remove is at least C:\Documents and Settings\*your login name*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

The best way to find all the necessary files is to make a search on, say, the string "profile", and delete all folders that somehow refer to Mozilla Firefox.
