Great band, although their albums seems hard to find. I bought "Not accepted anywhere" and it's great but I can't find their latest anywhere here. That's really strange since I first heard of the band on MTV.

Here is a translation of the lyrics for those that don't speak German. Don't just listen to the music in the background, but watch the video to it too. It's amazing. And I suggest reading the translation of the lyrics I linked to, and compare those to the visuals of the song. Yes, I realise this is technically a type of (German) Hip Hop or Rap. But this is a kind of Hip Hop or rap that I like. Because it's simply amazing. -

Lupe Fiasco - Hurt Me Soul
On his first album, Food & Liquor. I'd say my favorite rapper(/MC). Intelligent lyrics, great flow, both in the rap and the music, and just a great... attitude in the lack of a better word. Pretty much what rap should be, not too aggressive but not too shallow either and isn't "ringtone rap". As I said, intelligent lyrics. Talks about issues and life, and not just about how life is hard in the ghetto, but a great number of things. Doesn't have one song with "dumb" lyrics and he has clever rhymes and doesn't resort to the usual clichés of rap music.
